Vox Olympian : Main cabinet badge
The Living Voice Vox Olympian logo is crafted from hand-rubbed, oxidised silver. It is recessed into a solid billet of 24 carat gold plated bronze and suspended over a circular inverted ziggurat.
Vox Olympian : Hand-crafted Cabinetry
The solid beech wood cabinet and superstructure are finished in highly-figured New Forest walnut veneers, with solid walnut & lacewood lipping, and lacewood stringing.
Vox Olympian : HF Horn Assembly
The high frequency horn is assembled from 9 billets of precision-machined gunmetal bronze. A resonance controlling elastomer is incorporated into the horn to optimise acoustic performance. The mouth and rear bezel sections are plated in 24-carat gold.
Vox Olympian : Adjustable Crossovers
The crossover electronics are housed internally in a mechanically isolated compartment. The Vox Olympian’s tonal balance is adjustable via 3 calibrated controls on the bronze back plate. These controls allow finely-tuned, optimum performance in rooms of any size, proportion and furnishing level.
Vox Olympian : Individually Numbered
Every component of the Vox Olympian is finished with the same degree of care, attention to detail and quality of materials. Below each crossover control panel is a hand-rubbed oxidised silver serial number plaque.
Vox Olympian : Precision Calibration
The bronze high frequency horn assembly is rigidly mounted in a mobile, vaulted carriage. During installation and set up, this carriage can be moved in precise increments against a calibrated index. Mounted above the horn is the ‘super’ high frequency unit, mounted on a sled controlled by an adjustable, indexed worm drive. Such precise adjustment allows for correct time alignment and seamless driver integration.

Vox Olympian : Form & Function
The mid-range horn is constructed from cross-laminated, calibrated solid beech. This geometrically stable substrate is sculpted to a compound, radial profile. This combination of carefully selected materials and precision geometry is at the heart of the Vox Olympian’s natural, organic musical performance.
