G Series
G2 | G3 | G8
Our view is that support structures are integral to optimum performance of all hifi systems.
The G Series Equipment Support Systems enable a set of components to operate in harmony to create outstanding natural sound.
A sommelier suggests your wine accompaniment by experience and judgement, not by computer algorithm or finite element analysis. You may laugh, but an equipment table is no different. How much energy do you leave in the electronics, how much do you drain, how much do you damp, what is the nature of the balance between all of these? And this is before we even start to consider the energy feedback from the floor and the overall room acoustic.
So where do you begin? These things are incalculable with any real meaning, which is why at Living Voice we develop products by ear, manipulating all of the variable parameters until we have an intuitive understanding of what matters, where it matters, when, and by how much. We follow our trusted instincts and use a complex and demanding music programme, letting our taste buds do the work.
The G series Equipment Support Systems are the result of this approach, achieving a fundamental performance standard which we think is ‘right’ for a broad spectrum of equipment. Crucially the performance is further optimised via an adjustable torque mechanism, allowing us to fine-tune the precise balance for each item – and the system as a whole.
Our original equipment table design, the G8, was created to allow the use of high performance valve electronics in the saloons of ‘super yachts.’ Echoing the lines, materials and finishes of the Vox Series loudspeakers the G8 is bespoke ‘build to order’ only.
The G2 and G3 models have been developed for more earthbound deployment, but still with performance paramount. Both are available in two standard finishes or may be supplied in veneers to match your Vox Olympian/ Palladian. Each can be configured to meet specific equipment requirements.
Our Munich and other show systems have featured a G Series Equipment Support from the outset, and in recent years we have employed both the G2 and G3 as an integral part of the system to great effect. The G Series offers not just the perfect visual complement, but the ideal resonance-controlled platform to maximise musical potential.
